SCI's acquisition of Lodi Nut Company brought more than 100 years of nut and processing expertise to SCI and its customers, and was the springboard to launching the Specialty Food Ingredients Division. The Lodi facility provides GFSI-certified nuts as the highest specification processor in the United States. This facility, with its chemical-free "flash steam" pasteurization system, also provides oil roasted, dry roasted, sliced, salted, cleaned, chopped, nut kernel sizing, organic and even pasteurized nuts, seeds, fruits and a variety of other food ingredients.
