Hybrid Sunflower Seed
One of our specialties is hybrid sunflower planting seed. We are active in China, introducing U.S. confection and oilseed hybrids to Chinese farmers. This impacts SCI’s basic position of selling seeds, contracting with growers and manufacturing.

Contract Production
Specialty Commodities, Inc. is an innovator in bringing new products to markets around the world. Today, as specialty crops become more and more difficult to originate, many companies have discovered the advantages of contracting directly with growers, using SCI as their contract agent. Under this convenient, effective arrangement, we work with the procurement departments of companies helping them secure their forward purchasing requirements.

Organic Program
SCI is part of a significant organic program requiring that all our ingredients meet the standards of NOP-accredited suppliers as well as European certification programs. We adhere to the most stringent sanitary and quality controls of our own internal laboratories as well as external, independent laboratories.
